Steps
- Select a clear plastic bottle with a tight-fitting lid that is clean and dry.
- Get creative and fill your chosen bottle with materials that will captivate your toddler’s attention. Add a few drops of food colouring to water for a captivating rainbow effect or mix glitter for a sparkling visual display. You can also drop in beads, sequins, or small buttons to add texture and visual interest. Consider layering immiscible liquids like baby oil and water for a mesmerizing effect.
- Before sealing your sensory bottle, make sure to secure the lid tightly. Use hot glue or strong adhesive tape to prevent spills or accidents.
- Shake, roll, and tilt the bottle to create captivating visual effects and engage their coordination and visual perception.
