Your Local Early Learning Centre shares the activity of the month… Fluffy Ghost Art!
Boo! This month, we’re making ghosts with cotton balls. These ghosts are super soft and super fun to make, and your child can customise theirs however they want.
Materials
- Coloured paper
- Black paper or felt
- Glue
- Cotton balls
- White pencil
Steps
- Draw the outline of the ghost on the coloured paper with a white pencil.
- Fill in the outline of the ghost with glue, and stick cotton balls to the glue.
- From the black paper or felt, cut out ovals for the eyes and a crescent for the mouth. Glue these on top of the cotton balls to make the ghost’s face.
You can customise the ghost however you like with other craft materials you may have lying around. You could use a pipe cleaner to shape a little bow or hair or cut a hat out of felt or paper. Or before you put the glue down you could have your child draw a background for the ghost.
