Hello to our wonderful Cannon Hill Early Learning Centre families!
From the Office
We have had many excited children creating some lovely Christmas gifts for their families and having fun with lots of Christmas activities and games. Children’s yearly scrapbooks and portfolios are currently being sent home so please see your child’s teacher if you have not received yours by Friday 24th. Our staff and children have been working very hard on creating these for you.
our Centre Christmas party and performances were so much fun and we thank the Senior kindy and Preschool parents who came along and braved the heat in the yard to watch the performances. our children did so well and we are so proud of them. the videos of these performances are posted to EDUCA for anyone who would like to watch them. Santa came to visit later in the morning and the children all received a very special present from him (thank you, parents!). Our centre Christmas party photos are posted on our Facebook page if you would like to go and view them and save the ones of your child.
Don’t Forget that Friday 24th December is Christmas Eve and we are having a chilled out Christmas Pyjama Party on the day. So come along in your Christmas PJ’s or outfits and watch some Christmas movies, create more Christmas crafts and have some yummy snacks. It’s so exciting that Santa is only days away!
We had lovely graduation for our Preschoolers early in December. We are so proud of all of our graduates and wish them love and luck as they head off to primary school next year. Thank you to Miss Odette and Miss Kan for a great year.
Friendly Reminders
Covid Safe plan: Our year has been very busy and we have all had to cope and strategize with the many covid-19 restrictions and mandates. There will definitely be more to come and we thank everyone for your cooperation and we know that we will get through these difficult times together.
In relation to Covid-19, we would just like to remind families that to limit the number of people coming through the centre we ask that one(1) adult come through to drop off and collect children.
Please ensure you are sanitizing upon entry and exit to the centre. We have a hand sanitiser available at the front office counter and at the sign-in kiosk area.
If you or your children are unwell or experiencing ANY symptoms of Covid-19 please do not enter the centre and get tested.
If you have been in any hotspots or have come into contact with covid in any way, do not enter the centre and follow the public health directions for contacts.
Christmas and New Year Holidays
Thank you to all families who have put in their holiday absences over the Christmas and New Year period. This has allowed us to organise staffing within the centre during this time and also approve some staff holidays. If you are unsure of your holiday dates please check with the office as we have rostered staff on to the number of children in attendance only.
Accounts
Please note that your accounts must all be up to date as per our advance fee policy. Even over the holiday period our policy applies. We will have to suspend enrolment if accounts are not paid so please ensure that your funds are available on your direct debit day.
