Room Transitions
Coming up on the 8th of May we are having our class move throughs for children who have reached the appropriate age and development. Room transitions are happening from this week, allowing the children to spend time in their new classroom environment with their new Educators and peers. If your child is moving rooms please feel welcome to visit the new classroom and speak with the Educators of that room.
Mother’s Day Morning Tea
We are inviting all our wonderful mother’s to join us for a Mother’s day morning tea on Friday 12th of May, from 10am – 11am. The children and their class are preparing some lovely activities for their Mums to do with their child while they are here. We hope you have time to come along and join us.
Parent Teacher Interviews
Parent Teacher Interviews are to be held on Thursday 18th of May. Times that are available for each room will be displayed in the foyer over the next few weeks. Limited time slots may be available, so if you are unable to make this day or any of the times you are welcome to discuss this with your child’s Teacher or Educator to find a time and day that suits you both to meet.
Book Fair
We will be running our annual book fair form Monday 22nd to Friday 26th of May. This is a great time for children and Educators to share their favourite stories with their class, helping to embed a love of literature in the children lives.
National Sorry Day
26th of May is National Sorry Day. National Sorry day is a day to acknowledge the strength of Stolen Generations Survivors and reflect on how we can all share in the healing process.
State of Origin
On the 26th of May, we encourage families to allow their children to show support for their favourite state for the biggest football event of the year by wearing their team colours on this day. The children will enjoy throwing and kicking the balls around and getting into the team spirit by engaging in some team games with Educators.
