The perfect Mother’s Day gift!
Materials
- Canvas – 9″ x 12″
- Egg carton (not foam)
- Paint
- Scissors
- Pipe cleaners
- Ribbon
- Buttons
- Craft glue
- Paintbrush
Steps
- Paint the canvas with any colour of your choice and let it dry.
- Cut up your egg carton. Each individual egg container area is going to be a flower bud. Cut right down the middle and remove the excess areas.
- Paint the egg carton “flowers” with the paint colours of your choice. Give them several coats and let them dry.
- Trim the pipe cleaners to the right length and tie them together for a stem. Glue to the canvas with craft glue.
- Glue a button in the centre of each “flower”.
- Glue the flowers to the canvas. Let everything dry before hanging.
