We acknowledge the first five years in a child’s life are the most crucial for laying the foundation for future development. Following the Early Years Learning Framework, children learn through hands on experiences based on their interests. In this way, our programs can be adapted to each child’s varying developmental needs and allows flexibility that recognises the uniqueness and potential of each child. This framework is approved under the National Quality Framework to give each child the very best start to life and develop a love of learning through play-based activities.
Through open-ended and intentional play-based learning practices, every child is provided with learning experiences to help them in developing lifelong skills to organise and make sense of the world around them. We place specific importance on communication and language (including early literacy and numeracy) and social and emotional development.
Following the Early Years Learning Framework, our five key priorities for your child includes:
- They have a strong sense of identity
- They feel connected with and contribute to their world
- They have a strong sense of wellbeing
- They are confident and involved learners
- They are effective communicators
