We're Taking Enrolments
At Cannon Hill Early Learning Centre, we pride ourselves on the connections developed with children and their families. Our purpose-built and newly renovated childcare centre is a safe and comfortable space equipped with age-specific furniture and a playground to support and strengthen your children’s learning journey.
Our long-term staff are friendly and approachable and strive to provide continual high-quality educational programs based on the Early Years Learning Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines.
Our childcare centre provides a warm, relaxed and nurturing environment for children to grow and learn. We engage children in an environment that reflects the cultural diversity and individual development by providing opportunities that allow children to choose, inquire, investigate, interact, communicate and develop their self-esteem.
We provide three nutritiously balanced meals each day for all our children, catering to all dietary requirements.
We have also partnerned with Tangalooma EcoMarines. This ‘Mini Marines’ program helps children learn the skills to positively influence their local communities to make positive, environmental behaviour change.

Please Bring:
- A bag that fits into the lockers
- Two complete change of clothes
- Cot sized sheet set in a sheet bag or pillowcase
- If children are at the centre after 5pm, a healthy, non-refrigerated snack
Extra items to bring for Children under the age of 3:
- If toilet training at least 5 trainer pants / underpants / nappy pants if requiredÂ
- Several changes of clothes (particularly if toilet training)
- Bottles with milk and/or trainer cup if used at home

Before we sent our daughter to this centre, my husband and I had visited a good number of centres in Cannon Hill, Carina, Carindale and even as far as Coorparoo due to we work in the City. I remembered from the moment we stepped in the door at Cannon Hill Early Centre (Cannon Hill), I immediately noticed the warm and caring environment including the outdoor play area which in my opinion is the best in the region, my little one loves to play outdoor.As a trained teacher from overseas, I knew what I was looking for and what I wanted for our daughter. The carers not only took the time to get to know our then 20-month-old but also us as parents which provided a great sense of community. We found the other parents with child(ren) attending the centre were also pleasant. The Cannon Hill program offers so many enriching learning opportunities and encourages children’s sense of belonging. Our now 3-year-old is thriving and has achieved so many of her milestones over the past months and year. With the assistance of every staff member especially Sarah and Pam and the continued nurture of the Cannon Hill community she will continue to develop and enhance her social, communication and emotional wellbeing and physical development and we could not be more thankful to all those involved.We highly recommend this amazing day care centre with such a loving and nurturing bunch of educators led by an equally loving and nurturing Director! We cannot speak highly enough of this centre.
My kids love Cannon Hill Early Learning Centre! They've been going there for over 2 years now and are excited to go there every morning. The facilities are great, the renovated outdoor space is fantastic. The kids especially enjoy the veggie garden and worm farm:) The staff members are absolutely amazing and always go above and beyond when caring for the kids. I'm also very impressed with every event that the daycare holds (like Xmas parties, graduation days) the staff always puts so much effort into those and plan every detail to make the day special for everyone. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is considering it.

Could not recommend highly enough. Being a first time mum and facing the daunting task of selecting the right environment for my son to learn and grow was made easy when I first met Kelly, the amazing director.Kelly and her amazing educators make leaving your child in the care of others easy.He has learned so much and grown into a confident little boy during the last 3 years at Cannon Hill Early Learning. He loves going to daycare as the educators and Kelly have become like extended family. Having educators focusing on the children's interest and building it into learning. They are kind and truly care about every child that walks through the door.Couldn't be happier with the upgraded facilities. It appears the owners really want to create a safe and fun space for the kids to play and learn.Cannon Hill Early Learning is more than a daycare or kindy. It's a community of beautiful families and wonderful educators.Thank you Kelly and your team for your amazing work you do. Our daughter has been at Cannon Hill ELC for 3 years. The educators are loving, caring and show a true connection to the children. I would not imagine sending her anywhere else. She wakes up every morning asking if it’s kindy day and gets disappointed on the weekends. She runs into the service to educators who greet her with the love, care and attention she needs. We have had to start picking her up later in the day because she wants more time at kindyLove this centre so very much!
