Hello to our wonderful Cannon Hill Early Learning Centre families!
From the Office
Well here we are in December and Christmas is literally around the corner. The children and staff are all excited to see what the holiday season brings. You may have already received your child’s end-of-year portfolio or scrapbook and we hope you are delighted with their efforts throughout the year. If you haven’t received this yet-never fear our staff will have them ready for you by the end of the week.
We have had two major events in the past few weeks here at the centre.
Our Preschool children graduated early in December and we are all so very proud of them. They have had a wonderful year and we wish them lots of luck and good vibes as they transition to Prep.
We also welcomed everyone back into the centre this year for our annual Centre Christmas Party. It was so wonderful to see all of our families enjoying the evening together. Our Senior Kindy and Preschool children entertained us with their excellent performances and we were all so excited when Santa arrived and handed out some extraordinary gifts to the children

Friendly Reminders
Fees: Even throughout the holiday season we still need families to keep their accounts up to date. Please ensure that you do have sufficient funds in your account for debits and fee payments over this time.
Signing In and Out: We do understand that there have been a few hiccups with the new kiosks but we do need parents to be signing their children in and out every day. If you encounter any problems please let our staff know so they can sign your child in or out or assist you. We have noticed many parents and family contacts are just walking past the kiosks without signing in. when children aren’t signed in, our system will not submit the attendance to CCSS which means your subsidy won’t be approved.
Doors: Could all families please be mindful of closing the room doors and latching them when moving in and out of the rooms? we have noticed many are being let open which is a security and safety risk for the children.
Final Christmas Thoughts
Be Kind to people.
Don’t stress about the little things- look for simple solutions.
Allow others to have their opinions and respect them.
Life is precious- live it with positivity and light.
Merry Christmas everyone!!!
